 Light Gun That Kills Germs

Light Gun That Kills Germs

Dec 30,2006 by Mike

This cell phone-sized disinfectant light is the first to use UV-C light and nanotechnology to eliminate 99.99% of E-Coli, staphylococcus, salmonella, and germs that cause the flu and the common cold.

It looks pretty much like your generic clamshell handset, but what it does is keep your surroundings free of germs to ensure a good night's rest.

The light uses the same UV technology found in hospitals to sterilize surgical instruments, allowing you to disinfect workplace keyboards or telephones, as well as items in the home that sustain germ vitality such as toothbrushes and cutting boards.

Without using toxic chemicals, the light disinfects surfaces in 10 seconds as it is held 1/4" to 4" away from the contaminated surface, and the internal timer signals when sterilization is complete, while the automatic shut-o ff feature ensures safety.

Fits easily in a shirt pocket or briefcase for convenient travel. Bulb is 5,000-hour rated.
