Dell recently launched the Inspiron Mini 12 notebook, a small, easy-to-carry notebook that you can fine tune to fit your specific needs.

Based on its counterpart the Inspiron Mini 9, the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 is ideal for people on the go to surf the Web, chat with friends, blog, stream content, upload photos or enjoy online videos, music and games.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 will be available globally by late November with prices starting under $600. Ubuntu and Windows XP operating systems also will be available before the end of the year.

Dell Inspiron Mini 12 weighs only 2.72 lbs and it's only 0.92 in. thick. Inspiron Mini 12 will be preloaded with Windows Vista Home Basic, built-in webcam, 1GB of RAM and a choice of 60 GB or 80 GB hard drive, Built-in Bluetooth and 802.11b/g wireless.

Like the Inspiron Mini 9, the Mini 12 is powered by Intel's Atom processor.

Inspiron Mini 12 features a sharp 12.1 inch WXGA display, offering wider viewing angles and exceptional brightness.
