Dell Precision M4500 Preview
Late last year, Dell launched their most powerful 17-inch notebook, the M6500. Even though it is classed as "high performance" notebook the problem it faced was it's weight and size.
Dell Precision M4500 notebook is the only workstation on the market today offering Intel Core i7-920XM Quad Core Extreme Edition and NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M graphics card.
The Dell M4500 notebook provides near instant access to e-mail, calendar, contacts, the Internet and virtual remote desktops, with a new technology called Dell Precision ON.
Other Dell M4500 features include: 3MP webcam, backlit keyboard with moult touch trackpad, Gobi 2.0 mobile broadband (optional), optional 64GB SSD MiniCard for additional high-performance data storage and a HD+ sRGB LED screen with 100% user selectable color gamut support
The Dell Precision M4500 supports 32-bit and 64-bit of Windows 7, Vista and XP along with Red Hat Linux 5.3 64-bit
No doubt this notebook is very powerful and for that power you can expect to pay almost $1700, that is for the Core i5 entry level model.
