Virtual Walking

Scientists at Japan’s University of Tsukuba have created Power Shoes, which eliminate forward and backward motion while letting the wearer walk in a virtual world.

The shoes sit on top of motorized wheels, and they’re connected to a computer, worn by the user along with a head-mounted display, which cancels out the movement that would normally accompany each step.

Dont know about you but for me this technology development is pointless
