How to clear my URL history in Internet Explorer?

Oct 05,2006 by Editor

If you drop down the "Location" (or "Address" in Internet Explorer) drop-down list box, you'll see a list of locations you've been to by typing their URLs.

Here's how to get rid of those typed URLs from the history:
Exit Internet Explorer

Click on start>run> and type in regedit and click on OK button

Locate the folowing key

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerTypedURLs

Delete all the items (in the right side window) starting with "URL"

Now if you open up Internet Explorer you will see that your url list is no more
