How to Quickly Lock Your Windows XP PC?

This Windows tip shows you how to lock your Windows XP machine in an instant by creating a shortcut on your desktop

1. Right click anywhere on your desktop, Select New and click Shortcut.

2. In the Create Shortcut dialog box, type the following in the 'Type the location' of the item text box:

rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation

3. Click Next.

4. In "Type a name for this shortcut", type any name you want and Click Finish

5. Now you can either use the newly created shortcut from your desktop or you can drag it to your "Quick launch" area.
