12 Rounds (2009) Movie Review
12 Rounds the movie review - the only thing I can say after watching this movie is what a disappointment.
So what's wrong and why didn't I like 12 Rounds? I am still trying to decide if it's bad acting that ruined this movie or bad directing. If I had to choose between the 2 I would choose bad directing as there are so many rubbish lines and bad camera work in this movie that I can't just name a few.
The story line and the movie itself would be good only if it was directed by one of the top Hollywood directors and played either by Bruce Willis or Will Smith.
The makers are quick to point out that Renny Harlin stands behind this movie as well as Die Hard 2 which we all know was a big hit back in the day so I am wondering what happened this time – why is this movie is so bad?
So in a few short words and a few spoilers, 12 Rounds the movie is about a copper who gets a call one morning from an internationally known terrorist whom he arrested at the beginning of the movie and whose girlfriend died whilst being chased by copper Danny Fisher (John Cena). Danny Fisher is forced into "12 Rounds" of dangerous games around New Orleans after Miles Jackson (Aidan Gillen) kidnaps his girlfriend. To cut the long story short it turns out in the last round that Miles wasn't doing all this to revenge his dead girlfriend instead he had carefully planned and orchestrated a multi-million-dollar heist which he executes in the last round (12th Round). Here Danny Fisher's girlfriend is forced to fly a helicopter together with all the money Miles had stolen and the brave Danny shows up on the roof in the last second, jumps and catches the escaping helicopter and blah blah blah Miles dies and Danny and his girlfriend ............ lol why do I even bother writing about crap movies like this :)
There you go 12 Rounds of pure disappointment.
