Ok folks, last night I saw Far Cry The Movie and here is my Far Cry The Movie Review.
I am a big fan of Far Cry The Game and the game itself is awesome but in my honest opinion the movie director Uwe Boll really shouldn't be allowed to direct game remakes.
The story line follows the game but the problem is that the movie and acting is very low budget and amateurish at best.
Far Cry The Movie is based on the first person shooter game where Jack Carver, a retired Special Forces Officer now works as a boatman for hire. His Client, a photographer journalist called Val, has inside information from the mystiisland from her uncle Max whome she is supposed to meet on the island.
Before she gets there her uncle is arrested and engineered into a super soldier by an evil scientist who is running experiments on humans by creating genetically modified soldiers.
On their arrival to the island Jack's boat is destroyed and the never ending story of cat and mouse chase begins.
I must admit that there are some good fighthing scenes full of action on occasions spoiled by either bad acting or bad directing.

Why there's good old plan-as-home-baked-apple-pie genetically engineered monsters, soliders and a 3.2 // 10 rating on IMDB. How could one pass those three combinations up when they come in one convenient package?
Honestly, if you watch it as a comedy movie, its kind of funny. Sort of like the Dead or Alive movie directed by Uwe Boll with that cliff hanger of an ending. How will those 4 babes defeat the randomly showing up 200 ninjas? How??
It was ridiculous how easy Jack and Val got into the base and the GMSs looked like ripped drug addicts! As I remember the "monsters" of FarCry were utter and fearful beasts NOT gray-skinned skin-head.
Also... "Aim for the eyes or mouth" What? Sounds like little demigods with a secret weakness.
