JVC recently announced launched a new high definition Everio camera with built-in Bluetooth wireless technology, allowing the camera to work with a variety of other wireless devices.

The JVC Everio GZ-HM550BUS camcorder is a compact Full HD camcorder with dual memory of 32GB internal Flash memory/SD card featuring 10.62M Back-illuminated CMOS, Real 9.3 Megapixel Stills with no interpolation and is capable of recording up to 3520x2640 digital still images.

You can control it by using your smartphone to record, zoom and play, geo-tag videos and still photos taken and use it with a compatible Bluetooth headset.

Its 10.62 megapixel Back-illuminated CMOS sensor enables shooting of 1920 x 1080 Full HD videos and real nine megapixel digital stills. The KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS is currently one of the world’s smallest and slimmest HD lenses, and offers 16x dynamic zoom without any degradation of picture quality. All this is further supported by new technologies that ramp-up basic image quality, including Super LoLux and Advanced Image Stabilizer.

The JVC Everio GZ-HM500 is also equipped with both an LED light and a flash for shooting in dark situations. Advanced Image Stabilizer ensures steady images even while walking, and is especially effective when shooting bright scenes from full wide to 5x zoom.

JVC PICSIO GC-FM1 HD Pocket Camcorder Preview

The Picsio GC-FM1 HD camcorder is JVC’s first pocket flash memory camera. PICSIO GC-FM1 is designed for people who want a small and simple camera that allows them easy sharing and delivers high quality video and still images.

PICSIO features eight-megapixel stills and 1080p Full HD with some fancy features such as image stabilization that minimizes camera shake even when the 4X digital zoom is used. Picsio GC-FM1 is about the size of a small cell phone, and is available in Black Ice, Blue Steel and Purple Passion colors. , You can view your videos and photos on a two-inch LCD screen.

Design wise is also very appealing as it comes with a case that features a tone-on-tone geometric pattern and chrome accents for a jewel-like appearance.

JVC Everio X GZ-X900 HD Camcorder Review

The JVC Everio GZ-X900 (Everio X) is a small, light, all-in-one camera camcorder that offers the powerful shooting combination of Full HD video and nine megapixel still photos. The Everio GZ-X900 (Everio X) also features innovative shooting functions such as slow motion video and high speed motor drive still photography.

The Everio X is small enough to fit into a pocket and it weighs just 0.66 pounds making it one of the lightest cameras that can shoot 1920 x 1080 full HD AVCHD video, measures 2.6 inches tall, 4.88 inches long and just 1.46 inches wide. The Everio GZ-X900 shoots 9 megapixel digital photos and full HD video, 10x slow motion shooting plays 2.4 seconds of recorded video over 24 seconds.

What's amazing about this camcorder is the fact that you can take up to six nine-megapixel photos at 15 images per second which is faster than what digital SLRs can achieve. You can also take 5 megapixel photos while recording full HD video.

If you own an iPhone or iPod then you will love the One Touch Export button which allows you to export videos into iTunes for playback on your iPod or iPhone.

You can create a DVD directly from the camera using the JVC Everio CU-VD50 burner or CU-VD3 burner SHARE STATION. Other direct storage solutions include third party external hard disk drives from LaCie and Seagate, and an external Blu-ray Disc Burner from LaCie.

Hitachi launches the World's First Blu-Ray Camcorders

Hitachi have launched two versions of the world's first Blu-ray disc camcorder - the DZ-BD70A and DZ-BD7HA.

The DZ-BD70A is a single drive camcorder that can record approximately one hour of FullHD 1920x1080 high definition video on an 8cm single-sided Blu-ray disc. Lifelike image reproduction and rich, immersive color are a result of Hitachi's 5.3 mega pixel CMOS image sensor and HD quality 12-element lens system.

Not only can the DZ-BD70A record high definition video to Blu-ray discs, it also comes with an SD card slot for storing digital still photos at 4.32 mega pixel max resolution. A unique Hitachi feature called Photo Capture allows users to search though recordings on a Blu-ray disc, grab any still frame of video and save it as a photo to the SD card slot in 2.1 mega pixel resolution.

The DZ-BD70A also allows video to be recorded in standard definition quality to DVD discs (DVD-R/-RW/-RAM).

The DZ-BD7HA camcorder provides the Blu-ray disc recording capability along with a 30 gigabyte built-in Hard Disk Drive that can record approximately four hours of 1920x1080 high definition video or up to eight hours of 1440x1080 high definition video. Sony’s Net-sharing CAM (NSC-GC1) Preview

Sony doesn't want to be behind on the latest gadgets, so they’ve released the NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM, designed for social networkers and video bloggers who frequently upload video and images to the web.

Sony’s Net-sharing CAM seamlessly uploads short video clips to the web, and snaps print-quality, 5-megapixel digital still photos.

The camera weighs just about five ounces and it has ultra-portable dimensions.

The NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM can record about five hours of web-ready video footage on a Memory Stick PRO Duo media card, when recording with the default settings on a 2GB media card.

The NSC-GC1 Net-sharing CAM shoots video in the “web-ready” MPEG-4 recording format, with selectable picture qualities ranging from QVGA/15 frames per second to VGA/30 frames per second, which can be viewed on televisions. It features a distinctive “sharemark” button so users can easily “tag” or select video and photos they want to upload.

The Net-sharing CAM is pre-loaded with PMB Portable software. The PMB application automatically runs when the camera is connected to a compatible PC via the supplied USB cable, and will recognize “tagged” videos and photos. Because the unit pre-formats videos for popular web-sharing sites, it is easy to access them and post videos, without having to down-convert or manipulate the footage beforehand.

The PMB Portable pre-loaded software has pre-programmed menu buttons for direct publishing to web sharing sites, such as Crackle. The built-in software can also be programmed for web sites of your choice or even your own personal blog.
