The stylish 6-megapixel ViviCam 6200W is waterproof to 10 meters, features 4X digital zoom, a 2” LCD display, SD card support, and a rubber-armored exterior for enhanced ruggedness and durability.

In addition to the ViviCam 6200W, also debuting at PMA 2007 are the ViviCam 7388s 7-megapixel digital camera; the ViviCam 6385u 6-megapixel digital camera; the X625 10-megapixel digital camera; and the DVR 530 5-megapixel digital video recorder.

SONY presents its First Wireles Cyber-Shot Digital Camera

Sony is advancing wireless digital photo sharing with today’s introduction of the 6-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-G1 digital camera.

The DSC-G1 model is Sony’s first digital camera with the ability to send photos wirelessly to other Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)-enabled devices, such as another camera or a PC.

The DSC-G1 model features a 3.5-inch LCD screen with resolution of 921,000 pixels. The new camera’s slide show with music function makes sharing photos directly on the camera even more enjoyable.

The new models’ camera-to-camera wireless capability makes it possible to send your friends a photo at the push of a button. It’s also possible for up to four camera users to send each other photos in real time. With a DLNA-compatible PC, storing and sharing photos becomes simplified through wireless image transfer from the camera to the PC.

The DSC-G1 unit is the ideal holiday camera with 2GB of internal memory, saving you from having to manage extra media cards. The D40x boasts a 10.2 megapixel CCD image sensor that combines with Nikon’s exclusive 3D Colour Matrix Metering II and auto white balance to produce quality shots that capture the vivid detail and true colour of the subject matter.

The D40x is equipped with the compact, lightweight 3x 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor lens to provide superb picture sharpness and optimum contrast. Canon announces the PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH Camera

Through its signature squared-off and unobstructed flushed case design, a modern twist on the traditional design triumphs of the classic ELPH, the PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH camera incorporates nearly all of the features of its slightly senior sibling.

2 New PowerShot cameras from Canon

Canon has announced two entry-level PowerShot A-series digital cameras; including the 7.1-megapixel PowerShot A550, and the 5-megapixel PowerShot A460.

Canon said these new models are feature-packed, and offer consumers the latest technological advancements in easy-to-use designs. They are the perfect upgrade for owners of existing entry-level cameras, and they also provide a smooth transition for first-time digital camera users.

Announcing the cameras, Yuichi Ishizuka, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Imaging Group, Canon USA, said,

"The new PowerShot A550 and A460 digital cameras deliver an exceptional value to the consumer. They provide enhanced features and high image quality, while at the same time remaining compact, affordable, and easy-to-use. Canon Launches Media Storage M30 and M80

The Canon M30 comes in with storage of 30GB while the M80 comes in with an 80GB hard drive. Both devices have the typical Canon UI, so die hard Canon fans and users will find themselves on familiar ground.

The brilliant 262,000 color LCD display is a good 3.7”, wide enough to accommodate every member of the family gathered around the Christmas. We also have a 160 degree viewing angle.

These Canons also have a good 300 cd/m2 brightness and a 250:1 contrast ratio. One of the main disadvantage is the size and weight as it is a serious photographer on the move has a Macbook loaded with Photoshop.

Procing and availability of the Canon M30 and M80 is not known yet.
