alt="image
Zero-G watch by Futara" />

Tokyoflash has unveiled yet another watch that simply oozes with the cool factor dubbed the Zero-G.

The super slim Zero-G has everything that makes great unique watch. Simple & stylish with a original way of telling the time.

Available in either Black or Silver, it's mirrored LCD display ensures that telling the time is just a glance away. The circular display is deceptively easy to read: The LCD "arm" points to the hour just like a regular watch & the sweeping curve ends at the minute mark, also indicating the minutes in a regular manner.

Since the display is "always on" there is no need to push a button to see the time.

Another notable feature of this watch is it's small size & weight. The strap is a svelte 1.5mm thick, barely more than a Dime & it weighs just 60 grams.

Printing Without Ink has arrived" />

The founders of Zink Imaging LLC believe they have two great ideas in one absolute show-stopper. They've created a portable device that makes it ultra-convenient to print photos from digital cameras and phones. And they designed it to use no ink.

ZINK (Zero ink) Imaging has invented a new way to print and experience full-color digital images without ink cartridges or ribbons.

A radically simple approach to printing, ZINK Digital Imaging Technology embeds color-dye crystals into ZINK paper for affordable, durable and high-quality prints. The first products using ZINK technology will enable printing where it has never before been possible, in the pocket of every camera-phone and digital-camera user

The key to this process is the patented ZINK paper, an advanced composite material with dye crystals embedded inside and a protective polymer overcoat layer outside. ZINK paper is durable, colorful, and affordable.

Zink

alt="image
Light Gun That Kills Germs" />

This cell phone-sized disinfectant light is the first to use UV-C light and nanotechnology to eliminate 99.99% of E-Coli, staphylococcus, salmonella, and germs that cause the flu and the common cold.

It looks pretty much like your generic clamshell handset, but what it does is keep your surroundings free of germs to ensure a good night's rest.

The light uses the same UV technology found in hospitals to sterilize surgical instruments, allowing you to disinfect workplace keyboards or telephones, as well as items in the home that sustain germ vitality such as toothbrushes and cutting boards.

Without using toxic chemicals, the light disinfects surfaces in 10 seconds as it is held 1/4" to 4" away from the contaminated surface, and the internal timer signals when sterilization is complete, while the automatic shut-o ff feature ensures safety.

Fits easily in a shirt pocket or briefcase for convenient travel. Bulb is 5,000-hour rated.

alt="image
Arisawa Single Lens Video Glasses" />

Japanese Arisawa Mfg. Co. offers a single lens wearable video and TV glasses solution.

The Arisawa Teleglass attaches to apparently any eyeglasses. The lens mount only weighs 8g. The display consists of 0.24 inch LCD panel and a lens which generates a virtual image of 21 inch in size viewed from a meter away.

Arisawa sells the Teleglass for about 50,000 yen (~$429) and goes on sale in Japan still this year. Arisawa plans to release a version with integrated TV tuner in 2007.

Last year we reported about a similar HMD developed by Japanese Scalar Corp and you can read about it below:

The Scalar Teleglasses can be mounted on ordinary eye-glasses. The 0.24" 180,000 pixel LCD chip creates a 14" TV screen viewed in 1m distance.
The weight of just 7g is just amazing. The price for the LCD HMD is set at 50,000 yen (~$459.62).

Yet another cool watch from Seiko: SBHL003" />

Seiko has launched yet another timepiece from the Ignition line, and this time the Seiko SBHL003 that comes with a classic analog display that is used to tell the time while the inner LCD dial specifically targets timing and alarm features.

Made from synthetic sapphire crystal, you can expect a fairly scratchproof surface, while the titanium case and bracelet offers durability that can withstand everyday use without suffering from the occasional knocks and dents.

The Seiko SBHL003 is water resistant up to 100 meters and comes with a highly accurate stopwatch with a resolution of 1/1000th of a second.

The Seiko Ignition line is a tribute to the world of auto racing, and each watch tries to visually capture the essence of a race car's cockpit. The outer portion of this particular model's bracelet and portions of the case are coated using some sort of process which seems to translate into "diamond sealed" and both protects the watch from casual scratches, and gives the titanium a unique and very interesting look.

Seiko Ignition SBHL003 is currently available in Japan for approximately $520

SolarPort-charge your gadgets on the go" />

The innovative SolarPort 4.4 offers an energy alternative to keep your cell phone running, your GPS tracking and your digital camera recording images. SolarPort 4.4 allows you to charge electronics via USB, and its durability is unprecedented.

Take advantage of cable-free 12 volt connection in the hinge, and link up to three units together to increase power output. Lightweight but sturdy, our SolarPort 4.4 could mean the difference between a life saving phone call or a dead battery. Use the included BattJack Rapid Charger to juice-up your rechargeable batteries away from home.

Charging time will depend on your gadget, but unless you're in the desert it'll most likely take longer than using a wall plug.

SolarPort is meant mainly for USB gadgets, although there's also a generic power jack if your device is compatible. You can toggle the voltage between 6 and 12 volts, and a recharger for AA batteries is in the package.
