So what's new? Well the DMC-FS15 has an enhanced Intelligent Auto Mode and now includes AF tracking and Intelligent Exposure functions in addition to Mega O.I.S., Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection.

AF Tracking enables you to lock the focus onto a moving subject and then the camera automatically tracks the subject as it moves, keeping it in focus without the need to hold the shutter button halfway down.

Other DMC-FS15 features include a Venus Engine IV processor, an intelligent LCD screen which detects light conditions and automatically adjusts the brightness levels for viewing in sunlight and helps to preserve battery life.

The Photo Frame mode lets you put attractive borders around photos. The My Scene setting lets you assign your most frequently used Scene modes to the setting, and with a simple switch, access that scene instantly.

The DMC-FS15 digital camera is also capable of recording WVGA (848 x 480) motion pictures at 30 frames per second in 16:9 wide-screen format, as well as standard VGA (640 x 480) format.

The Leica C-LUX 3 from is a stylish camera based on Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FX37.

Leica’s C-LUX 3 comes with a 10 Megapixel image sensor, a LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 4.4-22 mm f/2.8-5.9 ASPH lens offering 5x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, Mega OIS image stabilizer, ISO up to 1600, and a 2.5-inch LCD display.

Like the D-LUX 4, C-LUX 3 can record 6:9 1280×720 HD videos or 4:3 640×480 videos at 30fps. It has 50MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC/MMC card slot.

Leica D-LUX 4 features a 10.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, and a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON 5.1-12.8 mm f/2.0-2.8 ASPH lens offering a focal length range of 24 to 60 mm in 35 mm format (2.5x optical zoom), 4x digital zoom, ISO up to 3200, and a 3-inch LCD display.

Leica D-LUX 4 can capture 16:9 1280×720 HD videos at 24fps or 4:3 640×480 at 30fps. Other than the internal 50MB memory, the D-LUX 4 supports also SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards.

The compact nature of the D-Lux 4 means it can be with you all the time. But despite its compact size, it offers top Leica quality and gives the photographer plenty of artistic freedom.

PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-G1 DIGITAL CAMERA

With the mirror-less system, the DMC-G1’s flange back, which is the distance between the mount and the image sensor, has been reduced from 40mm to approximately 20mm.

The G1 will be available in mid-November as a kit with the new LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S lens. Also available in November, and announced today, is the LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm/F4.0-5.6/MEGA O.I.S.lens.

The LUMIX G1 is also the world’s first interchangeable lens camera that will come with color variety – with availability in black, blue and red models.

Casio Exilim EX-Z300 and EX-Z250 Preview

The Exilim Zoom EX-Z300 comes with a 10 Megapixel image sensor while the EX-Z250 has 9.14 Megapixel sensor. Both digital cameras offer an ISO sensitivity from 64 to 3200, face detection, CCD-shift image stabilization, and a 3-inch LCD display.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z300 is able to record 1280×720 HD videos at 24fps and the Casio Exilim EX-Z250 can capture 848×480 wide videos at 30fps. Videos are record with H.264/AVC codec in MOV formats.

Both digital cameras have 38.5MB internal memory and support SD and SDHC memory cards. The EX-Z300 is available in Black, Silver and Pink Gold while the EX-250 comes in Silver, Gold, Pink, Red, Blue.

The Pentax OPTIO W60 waterproof camera can operate up to 13 feet underwater for two hours and at extreme temperatures well below freezing.

The 5X optical zoom refraction lens never protrudes from the Optio W60, yet it covers focal lengths from 5mm to 25mm. The new Sony Cyber-shot S730 presents a great-value entry point to the world of digital photography.
