Fast and Furious (2009) Movie Review

The opening scene of the Fast and Furious (2009) movie is jaw droppingly fan-flipping-tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I don’t think I blinked throughout the whole few minutes where they try to steal 5 tanker trailers being pulled through the Dom Rep by a crazy fool with an iguana sitting next to him.  One reason I didn’t blink is due to Vin Diesel being far too gorgeous for his own good :) but the other reason is that the action was so good!!

The rest of the movie was great too - although you get more car footage in the first Fast & Furious.  I'm not going to write any spoilers in this review just in case you haven’t seen it but safe to say it’s a great movie - full of v cool cars, speed, adrenaline, Vin, twists, Vin, great action sequences and Vin. Good acting all round.

Here is a synopsis of Fast and Furious. 

Heading back to the streets where it all began, two men rejoin two women to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert.

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto reignites his feud with agent Brian O'Connor.

But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him.

And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what's possible behind the wheel.
