The Tribe (2009) Movie Review

The Tribe movie, what a waste of time that was. I have the right mind to ask the movie maker to pay me for wasting 2 hours of my time watching this ridiculous movie.

The Tribe: Movie story line: A group of twenty-something friends are stranded on an uncharted island after their boat crashes. They quickly become aware they are not alone, as they find themselves being killed off by a group of ancient humanoid creatures.

Everyone is killed or eaten by the creatures apart from the girl who realises that the creatures react only on sound and movement and that they cannot see.  Hmm sounds very much like Kevin Bacon's pretty cool movie Tremors from way back when - Kevin's attempt blows The Tribe clean out of the water in every way possible!!

The Tribe movie finishes with an "amazing" scene where the girl beheads one of the creatures - goes back to the beach and destroys her only ticket out of the island (her boat radio) and then movie ends.

Note that after completing filming, the production crew decided they had produced a movie that did not live up to the original expectations and it would not do well. They decided to remake the movie under the name "The Lost Tribe" with a new director, script and cast. The lost tribe will be released straight to DVD by "Voltage Pictures".

Please do not send me movies like this anymore.

If i could rate The Tribe less than 1 I would.
