RipNas has a dual-core Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM and four USB 2.0 ports and it incorporates ultra quiet 2.5" laptop HDD(s) & heat pipe technology.

Home Windows PCs are backed up automatically to RipNAS every night, allowing simple restoration of lost files or whole systems. Windows Home Server has been designed to be expandable.

RipNAS is available in 500GB and 1TB base sizes.
